Many of our customers have specific questions about our professional cleaning services. Here are just a few of the frequently asked questions.
How can I get a quote?
Simply visit the signup form to book a cleaning service, as you provide information about your cleaning job expectations and schedule, your quote will dynamically adjust.
Are cleaning supplies part of the offer?
OCS will provide all of the machinery, cleaning equipment, cleaning solutions and personnel in order to provide you with excellent Janitorial services. Your company would be responsible for sanitary products, unless you direct OCS to purchase these items for you.
Cleaning supplies are not included by default.For Domestic services, you will have to prepare somethings like mops, buckets, and other cleaning solutions.
What if I'm not happy with my cleaning?
Please get in touch with the superiors right away and we’ll make arrangements to rectify the situation. We have a satisfaction guarantee that we stand by.
In which areas do you operate?
We are currently operational in Harare with plans to spread across all Zimbabwe.
What products of cleaning services do OCS offer?
We have divided the products into two:
- Domestic cleaning services have following services:
move in/out cleaning
post construction cleaning
power wash cleaning
2. Commercial cleaning have the following services:

Do you have a Nanny/Maid services?
Unfortunately, we do not offer such services for now but we will consider in the future.
How soon can OCS start cleaning my facility after l placed my order form?
OCS can start providing our cleaning services pursuant to your immediate needs.
How will quality be measured?
Quality control is measured by the constant presence of the Owner/Supervisor.
CAN I GET A SAME-DAY BOOKING?
We don’t guarantee same-day bookings. However, depending on the day, we can often meet such requirement.
DO I HAVE TO BE HOME FOR MY CLEANING?
It’s completely up to you. If you’re not going to be home, make sure you let us know on how we will access your house as you make your cleaning appointment.
DOES MY CLEANER ARRIVE AT THE EXACT TIME I BOOK?
Yes, most of the time. However, we allow a one-hour window due to traffic and weather circumstances. In scenarios where your cleaner will be late, you will be contacted to let you know the ETA.
WHEN AM I CHARGED FOR THE SERVICE?
You are not charged until after the cleaning has been completed. Your invoice will reflect only the amount of time that your cleaner was actually at your home working, rounded-up to the nearest 15 minute increment.
ARE THERE NAY COMMITMENTS OF CONTRACTS?
No, you can cancel service anytime without any penalties. You don’t have to commit to any contracts or predetermined number of appointments.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN A STANDARD CLEANING?
Click here to get a listing of what gets cleaned in every room of your house during a standard cleaning. You can also request extra items.
DO YOU PROVIDE THE SUPPLIES?
Cleaning supplies aren’t included by default. This ensures your cleaner uses the products you like and there isn’t any cross-contamination from house to house.
However, if you don’t have supplies, we can bring them for an additional charge of $10 per visit ($15 for move-in/out cleanings). Please note: we always use your vacuum and mop/bucket so please be sure to have those items on-hand.

HOW MANY CLEANERS DO YOU SEND?
Only one cleaner is sent to your home. If you’re on a recurring schedule, we’ll do our best to match you with the same person going forward.
CAN I TRUST YOUR CLEANERS?
Absolutely. The cleaners go through a screening process that includes a background check, reference checks and in-person interviews. We also require significant experience in residential house cleaning to work with us.
