Introduction

A clean environment improves our health. It also does so much in contributing to a positive outlook on life. This builds a better society hence a great future for generations to come. Oohesy Cleaning Services started out in the business of house thorough cleaning, carpet shampoo, mattress steam cleaning, and sofa cleaning. The aim was to provide thorough cleaning services. In 2018, the year it was founded, OCS participated in the https://www.cbz.co.zw/news/cbz-launches-youth-entrepreneurs-programme-yep-2018/  and also in another program with TEF  in 2019.  The company was founded by Odette Sauti, in partnership with Sydney Munyaradzi Chinzvende who handles the I.T.  Currently the company operates in Harare ONLY for now although it has plans to open branches across Zimbabwe.

Oohesy Cleaning Services began to work with 2 (TWO) employees using intensive manual techniques. Nevertheless, the company managed to purchase a few cleaning machines to improve cleaning efficiency. The number of employees has increased to 4(FOUR). In a year, we have provided service to about 21 customers with different needs in Zimbabwe.

The Product

For a year Oohesy Cleaning Services has faced and overcame challenges relating to articulating its purpose and products. All of this in order to reach its potential customers. We needed more funding and we still need funds to purchase more cleaning machines and stay upgraded to survive from competitors. Gradually within a space of time, we could find ourselves moving backward. In such scenarios, we had to incorporate and factor in a lot of changes in our products and services. Nevertheless, we kept pushing for our vision to be the best cleaning company, creating a clean and healthy environment across Zimbabwe.

Two years in the life of a start-up are always very tough. Our weathering through is a testimony to our dedication and perseverance to offering the best services and giving you true value for your money.
